When it’s out, he’ll sit next to it, preen, try to groom it, and is so fluffy and happy and he makes little chirpy noises at it. He became so enamored with it that he would be very territorial if you tried to touch it, so I took it away. He’s been screaming all afternoon, and when I take him out he flies around looking for it. I can just hear it: “Mom! You’re too old, you just don’t understand! It’s real love!!” d’awwww That is the cutest and most hilarious thing I’ve ever heard omg
